It always gives me great pleasure and an honour, to judge the premier show of a breed. This North Of England Lhasa Apso Club Championship Show is an extra honour as the show only occurs every other year.
I have to commend the facilities, the recreation hall and the efficiencies that were in evidence on the day.
The atmosphere was friendly, congenial and my placing's were applauded in a very sportsmanlike manner.

Class 1 Minor Puppy Dog (7) (5 abs)
A nice start to the day with youngsters showing great quality.
1st Hollands "Vaderlands Alle-Luya"
Gold and white, lovely head and expression, super neck and carriage, great front. Has the desired elegance on the move.
2nd Watts "Becsgame Fanfare for Kenida" Lovely head and expression excellent coat texture, smaller in type but with bags of showmanship, moved very well.
3rd Hollands "Vaderlands Sting in the Tale"

Class 2 Puppy Dog (13) (3 abs)
1st Yates "Rishlyn Rio Bravo for Swaybee"
Loved the head and expression on this young male, loved his superb balance and the way he displays arrogance, his balance and arrogance also showed in his movement, which was excellent. Best Puppy Dog
2nd Scarlls "Timazinti Rhombo" attractive gold and white with striking black ear tips, excellent coat, liked this guys head and expression, excellent movement.
3rd Chalmers "Chethang Fernando"

Class 3 Junior Dog (7) (3 abs)
1st Bradfords "Deelayne Beau Geste at Besann"
excellent presentation, had great style and excellent movement, liked his head and expression. I feel a touch more body weight would enhance him even more but never the less I could not deny him this placing due to his excellent Lhasa qualities.
2nd Hamiltons "Gilderdale Mr Smartie" good head and expression, very full-coated dog, excellent front and great neck, moved well.
3rd Nuttgens "Karmarnac Duke of Earl at Keris"

Class 4 Special Yearling Dog (4) (1 abs)
1st Hazelhursts "Sinyul Latin Lover at Corrolls"
lovely grey and white, great head and ears, good coat, excellent on the move, won the class on his balance, arrogance and superb presentation overall.
2nd Temperleys "Mitsui Technicolour Dream ShCM" gold and white in excellent condition, great coat texture, good pigmentation, great feet.
3rd Nuttgens "Karmarnac Duke of Earl at Keris"

dog with a good coat, excellent texture, looked great in profile movement.

lovely young dog this, just missed out in the earlier class in that tough competition. Lovely head and expression, excellent balance and great on the move, excellent presentation.

1st Lewis "Deelayne Ficky Stinger"
oozes quality, great head and expression, his condition had to be commended, in excellent muscle tone and has a great body, joy to watch on the move, and presentation was spot on.
2nd Waterhouses "Chtaura Rock DJ" excellent presentation, great coat, loved his arrogance on the move, his pure showmanship certainly catches the eye.
3rd Barthorpes "Patarch Shades of Guinness"

Class 9 Limit Dog (5) (1 abs)
1st Reece & Websters "Kandykone Kontradiktion"
great dog this, great head and expression, excellent pigment, had a definite masculine look, super coat, in great body condition. It all comes together when you see him on the move.
2nd Dolphins "Dolha's Do it All" attractive, very clean looking gold and white, displaying a great head and expression with the pigment, joy to watch on the move.
3rd Jones' "Becsgame Summer Breeze"

Class 10 Open Dog (10)
What a class, the owners are to be commended on bringing to this show this line up of excellent dogs, in excellent condition and presented so very well. This being so, competition was extremely strong and those who were not in the top line up are not to be disgraced in any way. It was a privilege to judge these dogs.
1st Cains "Ch Kutani Reckless"
this dog stood out, loved his beautiful style and presence, presented superbly, was such a pleasure to watch on the move, CC and Best in Show
2nd Gays "Ch Hazgaye Red Alert"
quality dog, another superb animal, loved his quality head and expression, has an air of arrogance that one cannot dismiss, the whole ambiance and presentation of the dog is a credit to his owner. Res CC and Res Best in Show
3rd Frankl's "Am/Ned/Int Ch Maijo Remarc Back in Business to Nichann"

Class 11 Veteran Dog (4) (1 abs)
1st ODohertys "Marbledale Devil of a Storm"
excellent condition for his 8 years, still has full faculties, excellent mouth, clear eyes, in great condition, still great on the move, was pleased to admire his many Lhasa qualities.
2nd Holloways "Ch Mashika Khyam" unbelievable at 11 years, in wonderful condition, his presentation today proves the wealth of care he has received to be presented in such good condition.
3RD Reynolds' "Ch Jardene Cantona"

1st Phillips' "Dimara Just Lookin"
what a showgirl this little lady is! Lovely feminine expression, in excellent order, joy to watch on the move, really caught my eye.
2nd Davies & Evans' "Fallingfoss Dion" black colourings touched with white gave this young lady a lovely appearance, neat and feminine, lovely head and expression, shows good type throughout.
3rd Allens "Daraghugh Party Girl"

What a lovely class of pretty, feminine young ladies.
1st Scarlls "Timazinti Jae"
what a fabulous, feminine bitch puppy this is, so very typical of her breed, full of character and great to watch on the move. Best Puppy Bitch
2nd Chalmers "Chethang Derry Lyn"
caught my eye, excellent presentation afforded the best picture showing off her many qualities, close on the heels of 1, liked her a lot.
3rd Waterhouses "Chtaura Kiss Me Honey"

loved the shape and style of this bitch, excellent coat perfectly presented, her carriage and balance on the move was exceptional.
2nd Lewiss "Deelayne Indulgence" attractive black bitch, lovely head and expression, balance and style very evident, movement spot on.
3rd Frankls "Kokomo I'm in Business with Nichann"

the style of this bitch caught my eye, excellent coat texture, good pigmentation, good on the move.

What a lovely class, I was sorry some of these girls had to leave the ring without a card as the overall class quality was excellent.
1st ODohertys "Anniseed Practical Magic of Chicane"
true style in this grey and white bitch, has excellent balance which shows in her stance and on the move, good coat texture with excellent pigment, perfect presentation affording a really pleasing picture, was so impressed with this lady that I awarded her the CC.
2nd Wiehes "Lisimo I LOve to Boogie"
lovely type of Lhasa, attractive, superb balance, excellent coat, very good on the move, great showmanship from this girl.
3rd Sutherland-Boltons "Petwalk Piece de Resistance at Khalila

Class 21 Open Bitch (7) (4 abs)
As with open dog, a lovely quality class and I was proud to be able to select from these lovely bitches.
1st Cassidys "Exephials Tears 'n a Sad Story"
lovely type, full of quality, style and balance, excellent head and movement, perfectly presented, extremely feminine, which I loved, looked well at the head of the class, looked well in the challenge and just missed out today, I was splitting hairs, RES CC. I do hope and believe, that she will gain her title soon.
2nd Corishs "Sealaw Whose Dreaming Now" well presented bitch, carried and showed herself very well, great on the move, feminine head and expression.
3rd Jones "Jejuna Silver Sixpence"

Class 22 Veteran Bitch (3) (1 abs)
These two ladies showed off their breed very well in this veteran class.

12 years old and looking a picture, moving really well showing balance and fitness, liked her many qualities. Best Veteran
2nd Holloways "Ch Mashika Ka-Trin"
mature lady in excellent condition for her 11 years, many Lhasa qualities.
