My apologies for the lateness of this critique.
My thanks go to you all for a marvellous entry, quality was mixed, but I was lucky to have some fabulous dogs to go over, My general impressions were pleasing,
presentation was very high and in a few classes very difficult decisions had to be made, but there can only be one winner.
Pigment is something that needs to be watched, however the only way to deal with this problem is to breed it out, and we will leave that there!
I found some very strange movement with over angulated rears showing great driving action yet the front was totally out of synch with much shuffling going on, very strange!
Short ribcages too were in evidence, mouths were generally acceptable with 6 incisors in practically all cases yet many many dogs had missing premolars, food for thought maybe?
Minor Puppy Dog 5 (2 Abs)
1st Emmott's: Lowmots Maximus - nicely balanced gold and white, with good head, nice mouth and good lay of shoulder
needs to drop a bit behind but is still very young, moved confidently and with plenty of drive.
2nd Davidson-Jones': Peakajay Sky Captain - lovely little boy, pretty head, nice dark eye, not as confident as 1 yet, lovely balance.

long ribcage, good depth of chest, decided today he would act the clown, lovely boy!

level topline, good front and rear, nicely ribbed, presented as always from this kennel to absoloute perfection.
He will no doubt carry his crown very soon and it will be much deserved, very sound mover
2nd Watts': Am Ch Hylan Shotru Brandy Alexander for Kenida (imp) - A big favourite of mine, a head to die for, most beautiful expression,
nicely made dog who I thought would be my winner, but on the day just didnt give his all in his movement, a lovely dog!
