Thank you to NOELAC and the members who voted to offer me this judging appointment. I enjoyed my day and thank the exhibitors for allowing me the honour of handling their dogs.
Some fabulous puppies present today which bodes well for the future and I would happily take home any of my puppy winners.
In breeding plans please think about pigment and ribs extending well back. Mouths vary so much - most were reverse scissor or undershot to varying degrees, with only one wry mouth. Knowing how difficult it can be to get the right bite I can accept these variances so long as there is adequate chin and width.
However, quite a few lacked a broad straight line of incisors due to lack of width. The standard of external preparation and presentation in our breed is second to none but please remember to also check dogs teeth as part of their grooming regime as there were many dirty canines and incisors that could so easily be made cleaner to view.
Temperament was excellent in all apart from one young lady who did not yet understand how to behave, and I hope that some kind exhibitor will have offered her young handler some coaching and encouragement.
Minor Puppy Dog 5 (2 Abs)
1st Phillips' "Dimara Macca Pacca" Brindle of 7 mth. Ex head proportions and typical Tibetan expression. Good reach of neck. Level topline. Sturdy and well muscled.
Moved out smartly with reach and drive. Very exciting prospect for the future.
A true pleasure to find such a dog in the very first class and still be so excited about him at the end of the day. Best Puppy Dog & BPIS
2nd Hall's "Shenedene Dick Dastardly" Close up to 1. Similar comments but preferred size of 1 today. Well schooled with excellent handling. Sure he will do well.
3rd Waterhouse's "Chtaura It Could Be Magic"
Puppy Dog (5)
1st Hazelhurst's "Corroll Arizona Pie" Silver brindle who likes his food! Good angles fore and aft and this shows in his movement.
Ex bite with good chin. Hope he grows up slightly on leg to balance his body length, but most pleasing to go over.
2nd Smith's "Wyndcatch New Kid In Town" Gold with nothing exaggerated. Level topline. Ex head with kind expression. Moves out well with enthusiasm.
3rd O'Rourke's "Cleverclaws Marcel De Malo At Dajelilne"
Res Green's "Pantulf Talk of the Town"
Vhc Deuchar-Fawcett's "Saranbeck Don't Push It
Junior Dog 5 (2 Abs)
1st McNally's "Angadema Are You Ready" Really good to go over. Ribs extending well back. Ex balance with correct height to length ratio.
Ex bite with good width to jaw. Well set tail.
2nd Davidson-Jones' "Ballitos Captain Fantastic For Peakajay" Ex neck length and topline and good outline on the stand.
A little wary today which affected his overall performance both standing and moving.
3rd O'Rourke's "Cleverclaws Marcel De Malo At Dajelilne"
Yearling Dog 2 (1 Abs))
1st Skerm's "Chethang Lisandro" Lively boy who is a handful for his owner/handler. Ex head with good chin and width of jaw.Good body. Well angulated.
Better made than he can look from the ring-side. He needs to be given his head and moved at a brisker pace to demonstrate his full ability so today his performance did not do him justice as he was held back too much.
Maiden Dog 2
1st Smith's "Wyndcatch New Kid In Town" Had the edge in maturity.
2nd Hall's "Shenedene Dick Dastardly"
Novice Dog 2
1st Smith's "Wyndcatch New Kid In Town"
2nd Hall's "Shenedene Dick Dastardly"
Special Beginners Dog 3
1st Skerm's "Chethang Lisandro"
2nd Rogers' "Shigatse Orlando At Phalassoa" Gold. Ex head proportions. Good reach on the move.
3rd Povey's "Perjena Ice And Fire"
Post Graduate Dog 5
1st Smith's "Wyndcatch Against The Odds" Cream with ex pigment. Correct head. Ex shaped ribs, well ribbed back. Shows correct amount of pad on the move. Propels himself around.
Improves every time I see him. Coat now well down to finish the picture. Looking forward to seeing him in full maturity and reaching his true potential.
2nd Edwards & McDougall's "Zuthis Hot Chatter of Quito" Red gold. Nice head on good shoulders and front. Good rear quarters to match.
I really liked this dog though his desperate need for a trim detracted from his otherwise good appearance.
The handling on the stack does not do him justice. Moves out well but when his excess foot hair is trimmed he will not catch himself on the move and be able to stride more freely.
3rd Clifford's "Rossgilde To Spin A Secret at Woonona"
Res Povey's "Perjena Ice and Fire"
Vhc Gowlett's "Yorclif Viking Spirit at Bentina"
Limit Dog 4 (1 Abs)
1st Waterhouse's "Chtaura Shadow Dancer" Ex grey dog that commands your attention. Tight reverse scissor. He has an air of self importance about him, and justly so.
Aloof expression. Level topline held on the move. So very sound.
2nd Hemsley's "Hazgaye Interceptor" Fabulous pigment on this dog, darkest of eyes and eye rims. Very pleasing head. Excellent front and rear assembly. Hard coat texture. Moves jauntily.
Overall a finer made dog than I would normally look for but his many qualities outweighed this.
3rd McNally's "Ballitos Ambrose With Angadema"
Open Dog 4
1st Scarll's "Ch Timazinti Motoro JW" Have admired him from the ring-side, hoped to get my hands on him one day, and not disappointed.
This super cream male is of ideal height. Nothing exaggerated. Moderately narrow skull, perfect pigment, dark oval eyes.
Well arched neck. A picture of balance on the stand and fulfils his promise on the move. Pleased to award him Best Dog & BIS
2nd Bromley's "Cossys Jammie Dodger at Jardene JW" G/W with ex ribbing. Ex muzzle width and bite. Level topline. Gd tail set. Mature male with good furnishings.
3rd Jones' "Rishlyn Sommersby"
Res Clifford's "Rossgilde To Spin a Secret at Woonona"
Veteran Dog/Bitch 3
1st Waterhouse's "Ch & Am Ch Chtaura Dream Machine (Re-imp)" Ex class of veterans, all able to show the youngsters how to move.
Carrying just enough weight, he is so impressive with ex balance. A1 all through. Can see how he has contributed so much to the breed in his offspring. Res Best Dog & BVIS.
2nd Bromley's "Ch Jardene Dazzle Me Do" Another that still presses hard for the top honours. Correct size, combining sturdiness with femininity. Ex bone. Ex bite.
Snooty to extreme - she makes you feel inferior to her. Serious contender in bitch challenge.
3rd Jones' "Becsgame Summer Breeze"
Minor Puppy Bitch 9 (1 Abs) Really excellent class of quality pups who will no doubt each have their turn.
At differing stages of development today, some very raw but with excellent potential.
1st Hall & Allen's "Shenedene Dora The Explorer" Delectable puppy so well put together and held her own on the move as well as on the stand.
So sound. Her beautiful outline says it all. Well schooled and sympathetically handled but retaining her personality.
2nd Bromley's "Jardene Razzle Dazzle Me So unlucky to meet 1 on good form. Just felt that 1 had the edge today, but another that impressed me very much.
See her litter sister was just behind her today.
3rd Bromley's "Jardene All That Jazz"
Res Surtees' "Showa Silhouette"
Vhc Rogers' "Phalassoa Am I Bovvered"
Puppy Bitch 13 (4 Abs) Another quality class, sadly with good babies going cardless.
1st Seward's "Elleonia Shades of Darkness" Stunning outline and does not disappoint on handling her. She just cant stand wrong. Well arched neck flows into level topline.
Correct tailset. Ex shoulder placement and straight forelegs. Handled to perfection.
2nd Stubbs "Cleverclaws Tiger Jane" Another truly lovely puppy, close up to 1 but had the disadvantage of not always being stacked to show off her excellent shape.
Watch and learn from the handlers of MPB and PB. This pup could trouble the best in time once the handler has learnt to show her to best advantage.
3rd Cropper's "Corrolls Dallas For Coro"
Res Arnold's "Jejuna Aquarius"
Vhc Lawson's "Rishlyn Evening"
Junior Bitch 7 (1 Abs)
1st Stubbs' "Cleverclaws Tiger Jane"

3rd Hemsley's "Timazinti Daniella At Shulamite"
Res Harrison's "Bryzobren Menphis Belle"
Vhc Harrison's "Brendella's Desert Orchid"
Yearling Bitch 4 (1 Abs)
1st Green's "Patarch Pheonix Night" Headed this class on her overall balance and ribs.
2nd Surtees' "Katay Cinabar" Gold. Good honest bitch with ex neck. Just preferred the overall balance of 1.
3rd Harrison's "Brendellas Desert Orchid"
Maiden Bitch 4
1st Waterhouse's "Chtaura Ice Ice Baby" Cream. Gd bone and substance but still so very feminine. Correct height to length ratio and my ideal outline on a bitch.

Res Hazelhurst's "Corrolls Miss Prim"
Novice Bitch 2
1st Seward's "Elleonia Shades of Darkness"
2nd Hall & Allen's "Shenedene Dora The Explorer" Unlucky to meet 1 in this class. Admire them both.
Special Beginners Bitch 4 (1 Abs)
1st Harrison's "Bryzobren Menphis Belle" Cream with lovely dark pigment and correct oval eye. Coat still to fully come down but good basic construction underneath.
2nd Green's "Karmanac Ebony NIvory" Glorious hard coat texture (one of the best) on this dark grey, almost black bitch (one of my personal favourite colours).
Gd chin and expression but bite and topline not her fortune. Gd balance and moved out well. Not a hair out of place.
3rd Harrison's "Brendellas Desert Orchid"
Post Graduate Bitch 7 (1 Abs)
1st Wiehe's "Lisimo April Love" Blackest of eye rims on this cream bitch which I found enchanting. Sweetest expression. Good fallaway. Good parallel hocks.
Moves calmly with purpose and effortlessly.Nothing exaggerated. Best Bitch & BOS in Show. She completely complemented my BD so well.
2nd Phillips' "Dimara Lola Rose JW" Not in her best party frock but construction worthy of a winner. Lovely outline on this compact lady, showing an ex arched neck. See she is dam of BPIS.
3rd Hamilton's "Gilderdale Miss Wagit"
Res Bradshaw's "Shulamite Call me Madam"
Vhc Green's "Karmarnac Ebony 'n Ivory"

Good outline on the stand and held topline on the move. Look forward to seeing her back in full bloom.

3rd Gay's "Hazgaye La Costadais"
Res Davidson-Jones' "Peakajay Lady Ellawiza ShCM"
Vhc Hazelhurst's "Patarch Naughty but Nice at Corrolls"
Open Bitch 4 (1 Abs)
